Call for legislation overhaul after spate of sexual assault allegations

There are mounting calls to overhaul NSW’s consent laws, with the push gaining momentum in the wake of shocking sexual assault and rape allegations at Parliament House.

Australia’s consent laws and our societal attitudes towards consent and reporting sexual assault has been under the spotlight after allegations broke accusing a Liberal staffer of raping a woman in Parliament House in 2019.
